Attended Marshall for four years. Then in June, 1970 was drafted into the US Army then later enlisted and served in Germany. Returned home in March, 1972. Finished up my requirements for my BSCE in June, 1973 while serving the remainder of my Army obligation in the National Guard unit in Dunbar. Began working for Southern Railway in Valdosta, GA in September, 1973 then transferred to Atlanta a year later. Met my wonderful wife Marcelle in September, 1977 and were married in January, 1980. We have four grown children and six grandchildren. Retired from Norfolk Southern Railway in November, 2003 and worked for an engineering consulting firm for 10 years. Fully retired from my consulting business Kanawha Technical Services in 2016. Marcelle and I enjoy being with our six grandchildren who live in the area.
Looking forward to the 55th reunion.
