I have worn many hats since 1966. As I look at a shelf in my office I see the hats of the US Army and US Postal Service. I also see hats that I have worn on Mission Trips to Africa - a forty-two hour train trip across Tanzania to the sight of the famous salutation, "Dr. Livingstone I presume." - the distant sound of heavy machine gun fire and the explosion of mortar rounds during an outbreak of civil war in Burundi - standing before a congregation of 12,000 in Uganda. I have also gone without hats as a construction estimator and in the calling of pastoral ministry. As a result of our missionary travels our cap for the past ten years as been that of owners and operators of a full service travel agency - Regal Travel By Design - that specializes in group and missionary/humanitarian airfare. There are the unseen hats - might I say crowns - of which I am most grateful - 45 years of marriage to my best friend Nancy - the father of two wonderful young ladies Charessa and Amber - and certainly not the least as Grandad to Stormie, Starr, Che and Lakyn. Then there is that with which I have been clothed - the faithfulness of the Son of God. |

I left WV for Atlanta, Ga.. where I lived for nearly 35 years. After retiring there, I returned to our beautiful mountains a few years ago and now live in Teays Valley. I've traveled the US but haven't been out west ..... (on my bucket list). Did the cruise thing and saw some of Europe as well. I'm still a "Warner-Warner" on my reunion registration tags lol. Kissed a lot of frogs ... and even a couple of princes, but you know the rest. Have had 2 children....1 cat & 1 dog. The dog will tell you I can be set in my ways! Single & happy that way & looking forward to the "Big 50" Reunion. Ouch. |

Hi everyone, just paid for my "Golden Ticket" and lookong forward to seeing all. I married Mark Young (Class of 65) and had two wonderful daughters. Mark was in the USAF for 20 years so we lived all over more than anywhere else. Ended up in Dayton Oh where I started work for the National Museum of the United States Air Force. Since he retired from the USAF while we were in Dayton and decided to stay there I was able to work for the Museum for 25 years and retired from there 7 years ago. We moved back to WV 6 years ago.My girls are both married and of course living in different states - one in OH and one in TN. We have 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren |
