Did anyone know Richard Cloxton personally that can give me information on him or his family? I believe we are closely related and i have been searching for any info no matter how big or small. This is very important to me and i would be so thankful if any one can help me.
My sister Annette B. Gilbert went to be with the Lord on October 18, 2016 (1:24 am). She requested no memorial service; but I thought her friends would want to know about her passing. We will all miss her dearly. We Love you Annette B. Gilbert. Forever in my heart.
How many years did we toot on those horns...six I believe...that love of music has never left...Your sacrifice was too much, but Thank You from the bottom of my heart. When I visit the Wall...always look for your name, Steve's and others that walked the halls of NHS.
My best friend from seventh grade, when we met, until she passed in June, 1996. Edna's legacy includes a wonderful son, Dylan, and beautiful daughter, Christie, who embody their mother's best traits. Edna left us too soon, the only reason that makes sense to me is she was too good for this world. Love and miss you, my sweet friend.
Death is nothing at all. It does not count. I have only slipped away into the next room. Nothing has happened. Everything remains exactly as it was. I am I, and you are you, and the old life that we lived so fondly together is untouched, unchanged. Whatever we were to each other, that we are still. Call me by the old familiar name. Speak of me in the easy way which you always used. Put no difference into your tone. Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes that we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without an effort, without the ghost of a shadow upon it. Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was. There is absolute and unbroken continuity. What is this death but a negligible accident? Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just round the corner. All is well. Nothing is hurt; nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before. How we shall laugh at the trouble of parting when we meet again!”
Kaye was a special person and good friend through the years. I was lucky to share many times with her that featured traditional music as a backdrop.

A friend for so many years...even after our school days...your door was always open for the sound of
music and friends...A special thanks for introducing me to the traditional music scene of Appalachia.
